Word of mouth connection, and the work turned out amazing! I asked them to complete a custom fence job with some adaptive thought for my elderly mom’s new home, they were kind, thoughtful and it turned out better than I thought or could have done myself!

Our Process
1. Consultation & Vision Planning
We begin with a free consultation to learn more about your bathroom, goals, ideas, and budget. Whether you already have a clear vision or need help exploring options, we work with you to create a practical remodeling plan.
2. Site Assessment & Detailed Estimate
Our team visits your home to evaluate the existing space, take measurements, and discuss layout possibilities. We provide a detailed estimate covering materials, construction scope, timelines, and project expectations.
3. Design & Construction Coordination
During the design-build process, we help select finishes, tile, fixtures, and custom details that match your style and needs. Once construction begins, we manage demolition, installation, scheduling, and every moving part of the job from start to finish.
4. Final Walkthrough & Project Completion
Before wrapping up the project, we complete a final walkthrough to ensure every detail meets expectations. We focus on delivering a finished bathroom that feels polished, functional, and built to last.
FAQ
Do you only handle bathroom remodeling?
No. While bathroom remodeling is a big part of what we do in the Lansing area, we also take on kitchen remodels, home additions, and other home remodeling projects. Some clients even bring us in to help expand living space or update multiple areas of the home at once, so everything feels more connected.
Can you help with design ideas or planning?
Yes. Our designers and team work closely with homeowners from the start to help shape ideas into something buildable and realistic. Maybe you’re trying to create your dream bathroom or just figure out what makes sense for your space and budget. Regardless, we help guide the design so it actually works in real life, not just on paper.
Do you handle projects outside of Lansing?
We’re located in the greater Lansing area and regularly work in surrounding communities, including nearby cities like Grand Ledge. Most of our work stays local, so we can stay hands-on, keep communication strong, and make sure every project gets the attention it deserves.
What makes Maniteau different from other companies?
We’re a family-owned contractor, and we stay directly involved in every project instead of handing things off. Homeowners work with a dedicated team that’s focused on clear communication, organized planning, and quality work from start to finish. We’re not trying to be the biggest company, just one that people feel confident hiring and connecting with.
How do I know my project will stay on track?
We keep things structured from the beginning so there’s less guessing along the way. You’ll enjoy clear timelines, regular updates, and a team that actually follows through on what was planned. The goal is to make the process feel steady and predictable so you’re not left wondering what’s happening next.
Can you work within a set budget?
Yes. We figure out the scope early, so expectations are realistic from day one. We help align the design, materials, and plan so the project stays within a budget that makes sense for you.
